Guatamala

I started blacksmithing in March of 2018. I have always loved to make items that last for years - even generations. I love metal, wood, and pottery, and so when my boyfriend and I decided to take weeklong classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School, I saw the blacksmithing class and jumped in. By the second day of classes, I was hooked and searching for classes in Atlanta!

Upon returning to Atlanta, I found GoatnHammer. It became a second home. The culture and atmosphere are amazing, and I have been blessed to develop skills and friendships. I plan to continue blacksmithing for years to come! Below are a few of the pieces I have made.

In addition to blacksmithing, Atlanta has an awesome Iron Pour a few times a year. I love the iron plates I was able to make.
