Bucket List

If you’re anything like me, you’ve stopped to write down your personal “bucket list” items. I did this for the first time years ago, but I don’t think of it as a “one and done” type of activity. I like to touch base with myself and update this list periodically, and review what’s on it so far. It’s something aspirational and helps keep me inspired to keep pushing myself as I remind myself what I’ve written before and brainstorm new goals, but also lets me stop and congratulate myself for what I have been able to accomplish so far!

This is a task I always recommend people take the time to do, as so much can be gained from this exercise.

But, what is a bucket list?

If you don’t know what a bucket list is, fear not!

According to Stanford Medicine,

“A bucket list is a list of the experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime. A bucket list is an itemized list of goals people want to accomplish before they ‘kick the bucket’ — or die.”

So, are you curious to know what’s on my life’s to-do list?

• Hike on 6 of 7 continents – 5 COMPLETE 1 TO GO
• Start Non-Profit Organization – ✅
• Learn to play guitar
• Start a Podcast  ✅
• Write a book
• Be a guest on a podcast ✅
• Be a guest on a talk show
• Be on a board at Georgia Tech ✅
• Live in Silicon Valley ✅
• Own a badass jeep ✅
• Build a woodshop/workshop -✅
• Learn a second language – and remember it!
• Make a bold career move – if appropriate ✅
• Do HARD THINGS  ✅ & Doing
• Own a cabin in the mountains
• Own a camper
• Go viral in something ✅
• Mentor a future “rockstar” ✅
• Speak on a TedX
• Deliver our first scholarship/grant to a recipient from RAN
• Create for Georgia Tech Scholarship ✅

I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished so far, but it’s easy to say that I’m far from done. In this big and beautiful world, there’s so much I want to experience before I “kick the bucket.”
