I remember getting divorced at 29, going to school as a single mom, and being told, “You’ll never be able to.”
It was hard—and it was the best decision I ever made. So now, when someone tells me something I’ve chosen to do is going to be hard, I don’t flinch. I think, game freaking on. I’ll rally my people, stay committed, and give it everything I’ve got.
Hard doesn’t scare me anymore.
